In order to provide a definite vocabulary to differentiate between the exposures, subchronic exposures result from 30 to 90 doses or exposures, and chronic exposures result from 90 or more doses or exposures.

OBS

"subchronic exposure": In laboratory tests, usually refers to toxic effects associated with repeated exposure of a test animal to a substance, not exceeding ten per cent of average lifetime.
